What's the thing your father did for you that you'll remember him for most?
For me it was one day I got home last year, and he came in my room and said "Hey, what'd you think of Japan?"... I was a bit confused... because I'd gon 3 months ago..... ao I said "good......why?" and he replied "well do you want to go back??" and he'd got me and him tickets to Japan for 15 days with a group for the Sister City delegation... and it was one of the best moments of my life

I remember a talk my dad gave me after my mom found a stack of some pr0n magazines when I was 15. While my mom was freaking out and screaming, my dad ordered me to his room, where I went assuming I was going to be thrashed. He sat me down, locked the door, and turned to me and winked. "Mom found your girlie mags, huh?" he smiled? "My brothers and me had a Playboy stuffed behind my mom's medicine cabinet for 3 years. Find a better hiding place, but throw these ones out to make your mom happy." As I realized I didn't die, he unlocked the door and in a grave voice said loudly "Don't you EVER do that to your poor mother again." It was a sort of a rite of passage between me and my dad. Kinda sick, but still special. Oh, and in other news, my baby Angela is 18 months old! ;-D

Yes, congrats ;D
I don't really remember any stories...Most of my stories involve my mom and my sister and random outings we've had...maybe it's cause I'm not really a daddy's girl..lol

I was (and still am) a "Daddy's Girl" as the last child in a family of girls, I was a tomboy, so the closest he'd get to a boy. He taught me how to fish & ride a bike. My strongest memory though was when I called him when my first child was born (the first boy in our family, I have many nieces) He just kept repeating Thank you, thank you, thank you....

Well I guess I did him proud, I gave him 3 out of the 4 grandsons he's got (one is a step-grandson) He really enjoys himself when he spends a week with us each spring.

My dad is a redneck? He liked to take a wagon and fill it with straw, attach it to the riding lawnmower and take me and my sister for a "hay ride"...it was really..rather disturbing.lol
