I'm glad we don't have to worry about retainers in our house. They seem to be quite a bother.
1. recently spent 4 hours in an emergency room waiting to have my son's head stitched up.
2. chipped my elbow & dislocated my shoulder falling off a teeter-totter as a child.
3. my kids got sea sick, but caught a nice salmon while fishing off the coast of Vancouver Island.

I'll take #3 because it DOESN'T involve childhood injury. ... oh, wait. The kids got sick... oh well, I'll stick with 3 anyway.

Geek-A-Zoid, not 2, it was my sister not me that happened to, all my bones are still intact.
Scooter, not 3, they did get sick, but had to bring hot dogs home for dinner 'cause they didn't catch a thing.
Amynthis, through the process of elimination you're right, my youngest ran too fast on a junglt gym & didn't duck enough going through a plastic tube, after 4 hours in the ER & 8 stitches he was ready to play again (ah, the resilience of youth)

I'd guess #2 is the lie -- that a couple of years ago, in a misguided attempt to recreate yourself you put all you NKOTB CDs in a garage sale, and now, oh the remorse! If only you could find those people who bought those CDs! If only you could get back those testaments of musical innovation and with it the glory of your youth! (*quiet sobbing*) Yes?

Actually, I never had any NKOTB CDs, they were about 5 years before my time...it was my sister who liked them... Scooter's turn

Hmm... 1. I meditate (pretty much) every day. 2. When my son was a year-and-a-half we saw a firetruck on our way to a funeral, and when we arrived at the funeral home he ran up to his grandmother shouting, "Gramma, Gramma! Fart fudge! Fart fudge!" (Note: This has been automatically euphemized, but you can guess what it we he actually said... Assuming he actually said it and I'm not just making it up.) 3. I am currently wearing a skirt.

1, it's what's left

What's left is what it is. I wish I did have the discipline to meditate on a regular basis, but nope. (Maybe I'll work on that.) "Fart f*ck" is the way my son pronounced firetruck. And I'm wearing a kilt (quite comfy on a hot day!) Take it away, Tails!
