Ever wondered how some people create puzzles... I have managed to track down some useful tools/websites for anybody making their own puzzles.
www.aolej.com Several free tools such as CtrlA, Stereogram Creator, Mosaic Maker, etc. (Possibly ET's favourite site)
www.purplehell.com Although this site is meant to help you solve puzzles it can give really good inspiration.
www.flash-gear.com Add Flash to your riddle site for that professional touch.
www.allthelyrics.com If you want obscure song lyrics as a level this site has them all.
www.htmlcodetutorial.com This site allows you to add hidden source code messages etc.
www.freewarefiles.com I use this for tools for several things.
www.wordplays.com Double check if your puzzle is possible
www.wikipedia.com Every know and again, make the player do some research on an obscure subject.
www.gamershood.com This site gets a lot of views so submit them your puzzle, you could make it big.
If anybody can think of more sites, please add them.
