Thanks, I don't know why it didn't work before. Guess the pic was just off for a day.

My MS Paint must be broken because the fill tool reveals no hidden word at all. I did use PS, though, thanks for the tip to set tolerance to 1. What version of Paint was this for? I think mine approximated the whites.

You know, if you made the colours slightly more different, people wouldn't be having this problem.

Hakdo,
First off, welcome to the game, and thanks for contributing to the discussions!
Just a reminder (to save future frustration) - as mentioned on the main page, the game was designed for Windows OS and IE web browser. Your mileage may vary using alternates - but if it does, I am very willing to offer alternate hint streams or nudges through Private Messaging.
Keep up the good solving!

You know, if you made the colours slightly more different, people wouldn't be having this problem. but if the colors had more contrast, than the answer would be legible immediately. that wouldn't be any fun, now, would it? ;D but if it's ever impossible to proceed with a task, or the results are scarce, remember that there are multiple ways of arriving at any one solution - besides off-the-wall guesses. i've gotten stuck a couple of times, and sometimes i feel that it is best to start a certain puzzle entirely over...
