My wife is not a big gamer but she will play some games with me and those games are found on the game cube. Mario Party, Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, PSO, FF:CC, they are cartoony games and there are clones on other systems but i give props to nintendo for making games that a wide variety of people can enjoy.

I only have a PS2. There are a couple of good games for Nintendo, but overall I just prefer the gaming console/DVD player

I had a SEGA Master System when I was young and I enjoyed it very much (Alex the Kidd, Alladin, ...)
But now I only have my PC-games and I don't need anything else.
PC for the win!

Of these, I go with the DS since it passes the time at work. (OOH, a DS ad while posting! How eerie.) But my all-time favorite system is the NES. And I have a well-formed opinion considering the number of systems I have (25).

25?! Awesome, you're my new hero.
I voted Gamecube, mainly because I am a very "social" gamer, and my wife/family really like the Mario Party-style games or games like Monopoly, etc.
Then, there's always Zelda and Soul Calibur which satisfy the solitary geek inside.

So time consuming? What about this puzzle? Geez. Anyways, I have 25 systems, 21 of which are different. One, however, is a Vs. Unisystem arcade cabinet from 1984 with the Vs. Dr Mario board installed! I got it along with all original documentation and stickers (on original backing) for $40! Back on topic, I think Nintendo has the best games overall. They're always very immersive, fun, and generally well-rounded when it comes to the learning curve for their first-party games.

Don't blame the advertising you can only blame yourself for letting yourself be hypnotized by it
