Well I'm on the playlist and am pretty sure I know what "Going Down" means. And I've tried entering both the song name and the band name with an .htm, and an .mp3, and an .html, but none work. Am I on the wrong track?

The playlist is giving me trouble. img525.imageshack.us/img525/9397/m3u7jt.png is the error I get. It works on my other computer though. I am using WinXP, SP2, IE6. Cant say what caused it. All other working extensions give me this error.

When try to open the playlist in windows media it just says something like: error: cannot play playlist" and when I click on properties on "playlist 1" it dosen't have any info on the artists/play time or anything. Is this supposed to be happening? ?? And if it's not...what the heck am I supposed to do???!!!!

...Ok...this time when I opened it the error message came up and I saw the playlist open...but I could not click anything it was like the computer froze....
So... is it necessary to listen to the songs or do you just need to examine their names...because the only one that can be highlighted is metallica.... wow this stinks

You don't need to listen to anything. By entering in the correct filename, with the correct extension which can be viewed at the source of your problem, you'll see the playlist.
All you need to do is see the list, and keep your mind out of the gutter.

Ha! Got it!!
You don't need the songs to play, and YES the 8th one is signifigant, but only if you look at the playlist in the correct way... just like the page title suggests. *G*

um... maybe i'm just naive or computer stupid. but what do you mean by the source? how do i find that? i'm able to look in properties to find the name of a picture, and i can see what a page is called- it's on My Tabs. is either of these another name for the source? if so, i'm just totally lost and have no idea how to get to a playlist. i, too, have tried going to the picture as it's named in properties but ti's just a picture. is that a glitch?

Some hints:
First, anyone who got to level 10 without viewing the source: congrats, you're a better player than I'd be.
To view source: View ----> Source from top menu bar, or right-click on the page (NOT on the picture) and choose "View Source".
To download files: replace PAGENAME.htm with FILENAME.extension and it will come up.
Good hunting!

thanks for that. now i just have to deal with the fact that when i try either of those methods of viewing the source, absolutely NOTHING happens. jolly good luck to me.
and yeah, i didn't use the source up until now because... i can't. i don't necessarily think that makes me a better player because checking a source wouldn't even occur to me. blargh!
edit: i did figure it out. but the source thing is still a problem. must be something with this computer.
