Look at the title of the picture. Look at the (incomplete) chart in the picture. Rings a bell? Looks a bit like a chart you may have used during specific lessons.

Sorry, had to remove some tell-tale details. Part of the challenge for some puzzlers is identifying what the puzzle is even referring to! I was one! But this forum helped without giving me the answer on a plate. Thank you

Ok... I know what the picture name is, and it's chart number.
For the man on the picture, is it about what there is in his little bag?
The x, could we replace it by *?

And then the how many part...how many what? teeth the person (bottom left) has? the number of coins? the grade the person would have gotten if he had taken an "are you retarded" test (which on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most retarded he would have been 247)? x.x

Once you discover that connection, some research (if you're not already familiar with the story) will yield the clues you're looking for. Keep trying!

Does the value of silver in us dollars enter into it?

And what's the thing with this chart? I've never seen him in my whole life... I thought it was something like those 3d puzzles where you can see images coming out of the picture, but I can't figure it out
