i have to agree there are no good hints. this board has helped quite a bit so far, but now i'm stuck. though the one to get here (puzz 18) i found pretty easy.
how does stepping left relate? that's my real question.

I think I have lined them up and taken a step to the left, and I've got two 4-letter words which don;t tell me anything and don't lead anywhere. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

It's a shame you missed the ones inbetween then... you might have found them enjoyable. definitely pounded my head on 14 forever. Now pounding again on this level.

Careful what you say here, I think energythief enjoys watching people squirm while trying to figure these out, especally if he can tell that you know the answer but just don't realize it yet

And what is with those not so sutble clue ins to the word enjoy that energytheif keeps making? August can't seem to understand...
Edit: August has found her answer...she was being blind for a moment.

Still can't understand this one..
Line them up, take step to the left, understood those but what "bottoms up" mean in this one?
EDIT: some progress, i have now two 4-letter words made from both signs but still don't know what next..
Some advice would be nice..
