I am here - but I don't know what the tune is yet...perhaps it has to do with the name of the picture? Idk yet - but hey it's my first DAY on this level - so I don't have high hopes! HA.

I have played the .mp3 forwards, backwards, at double speed and half speed...I am thinking it may be the obvious song, but I am still trying to decide if i should go with my gut or not. Looking for more clues...:-)

Finally here!
I've searched the page up and down tryin to figure out where to begin. I know what the mp3 is (and how it relates to something prior to this), and I'm pretty sure I know what the picture is instructing me to do. There's "other things" you can do to an mp3 aside from listening to it; is this one of those puzzles I have to go scouring google to match the picture for?

DIRECTOR'S NOTES: This picture was taken by yours truly, spinning a Minolta Dimage-X toward distant lights from Welland, Ontario from inside a hotel room at night. On a business trip, some time ago. Felt it was relevant to this level in spirit. Now is that a clue? Not sure, but it should make for some interesting speculation for those who think EVERYTHING I write is a clue.

So I guess I was absolutely wrong on what the picture was! Guess I'll have to re-think my method on this one.

Exactly, so why don't you just do it?

What else can you do to an .mp3 besides listen to it, slow it down, speed it up, or play it backwards? Speaking of all those things, I don't have a program that can do that! How else can I solve this?

trust me, the program you need to do this one is already on your computer.

How else can I solve this? You would still be listening to it, wouldn't you? So, obviously, that's not what I'm talking about.

I don't know if I'm in the ballpark here, but I'm looking at some programming gobbledegook. Is there something hidden in there?

Yes to both of you, I have looked. My first post said, "I am looking." Since I'm not seeing anything that looks like an answer, I was wondering whether I was looking in the right place. Would Mac TextEdit show the same symbols as your notepad? I've got three pages of characters starting with ??íd PLÆJ I've found lots of near words. I've found an anagram of Eeyore. I've found CSI NY. I've tried Baba O'Riley and Teenage Wasteland. Am I looking at the right file?

Sorry, Robert. Didn't mean it to be snarky... you'd be surprised at how little effort some solvers put in before asking for help. As for Macs, I have no idea what will show up. As the intro page disclaimer mentioned, I've created/tested only on a Wintel-based machine. Can someone lend Robert a hand?
