I'm curious to see what sort of overlap Magic and web puzzles have. I, for one, am a die-hard fan of both. Anyone else addicted to cardboard crack?

I used to play big time in high school, but once I graduated I had no contact with others that played locally. Then the local comic book store that used to have tournaments closed. I still play the ORIGINAL PC version and have all of my cards. I stopped buying new ones in 2000, though. I think you'll find quite a few people that run through these puzzles have had some experience with a collectible card game or D&D type games. They both require much thought and general knowledge.

Well, I never got into Magic, but I have some friends who did...and unfortunately, at one point in time I had played yu gi oh (though I consider those to be the dark times..lol)
But I do agree with fullcircle that the two do seem to go together more often than not

I sold most of mine/gave some away to friends...but I still have at least 50 somewhere in my room...stuffed in the back of a closet somewhere, probably

I probably have somewhere around 20,000 cards. When we playtested for Wizards, we got paid in product instead of cash. :-)

Unfortunately, no. They never made anything great like that for us poor schlubs. However, I do have plenty of basic land with playtest stickers on them of cards that were nerfed or never got made. Worthless except for the nostalgia value.

I've been playing Magic for about 3 years, although I haven't really gotten into the competitive scene until this past year. It's a great game, and an excuse to not waste money on WoW
